Ramadan 2020:Devout Muslims around the world are eager to welcome the holy month of Ramadan in the midst of the Corona crisis. The word Roza is closely associated with Ramadan. The word is widely used in Persian and Urdu. The Arabic meaning of rosary is fasting. The literal meaning of the word fasting is abstinence. The people of the Muslim community observe Ramadan fasting throughout the month of Ramadan. And the two words associated with this rosary are Sehri and Iftar. The followers of Islam take Sehri and Iftar very seriously during Ramadan. Do you know the real meaning of this?

Sehri is an Arabic word. Sehri in Arabic means last night or dawn etc. According to the Shari’ah, sehri is the food of the last moment of the last night in order to fast the month of Ramadan. Eating sehri is considered Sunnat and good deeds. 

That is, the food that is eaten after sunset is the iftar. If dates are not readily available, then fasting can be broken by eating any sweet food or water. It is known that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) broke this fast by eating dates and water. This has been the case since then.

Kebab, Tikka, Biryani, Nihari are all stored in Iftar food. Shir khurma, various sweets with milk, kheer, firni, and other sweet foods are also included in the list of iftar.

On the night of the month of Ramadan, after the obligatory four Rakats of the Isha prayer and the two rakats of Sunnah, and the two rakats before the Vitr prayers, the 10 Rakats prayers that are performed in 20 Salam, This is called Ramadan prayers. The original root of the Arabic word tarabih rahatun means rest or rest.

According to the Shari’ah, Tarabi is the name of a little sitting to rest for two rakats or four rakats in a row during Tarabi prayers in Ramadan.

Reasons why fasting is broken and qaza and kaffarah are obligatory:

Reasons why fasting is makrooh:

  2. Slander.
  3. Tasting or chewing something unnecessarily.
  4. Stay unclean for a full day.

  6. Swallowing with saliva in the mouth.

Reasons why it is permissible to break the fast and to make up the missed fasts later:

1.It is permissible to break the fast if one does not have the strength to fast due to illness, or if there is a risk of disease progression or if there is a risk of delay in recovery.

2.If a pregnant woman or a breastfeeding woman fasts, it is permissible for her to break the fast if she or her child is in danger of dying or becoming ill.

3.It is permissible for a traveler not to fast or break his fast.
